The All University Orchestra at Carnegie Mellon University is excited to celebrate their 19th season 'Le Voci Del Destino with programs of powerful bravura!


Sunday, December 4th – Carnegie Music Hall – 4:30 p.m.

Join us in December for a passionate program, including the overture from Verdi’s La Forza del Destino, Max Bruch’s soaring Violin Concerto No. 2 featuring AUO Concerto & Aria Competition winner Irene Sun, followed by Serge Rachmaninoff’s
fateful Symphony No. 2.


Sunday, April 9th – Soldiers and Sailors Museum – 4:30 p.m.

Come hear the magnificent words of America’s 16th President through Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait. Take in the virtuosic writing of Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 1 featuring AUO Concerto & Aria Competition winner, Taisuke Yasuda. Finally, share in the celebration with Beethoven’s ‘Heroic’ Symphony No. 3.

Please be on the lookout for performances by our chamber ensembles, String Theroy and Flute Choir, throughout the season.

The AUO is funded by the Department of Student Activities. All concerts are free and open to the public.
